With the introduction of the mobile-phone-friendly version of TeamSeer, and our ongoing work to focus on speed, user friendliness, and project delivery, we hope we are well placed to continue to offer our customers the very best holiday planning and absence management software available.

It’s in the late stages of testing at present, but we expect to release this to customers in late September / early October.

The mobile version is a ‘web app’ which means you don’t install an ‘app’ on your phone for it to work, you just need a smart phone with a web browser. It has been specifically designed to work with:

• Blackberry
• iPhone
• Android

It should also work with modern Nokia smartphones and Windows Mobile phones, and tablets like the iPad.

The mobile app is a cut-down version of the full website version of TeamSeer, deliberately so, as when you are on the move you probably just want to book some holiday or approve your team’s holiday requests. There’s always the option to switch to the website version of TeamSeer from the main page.

Here’s some screenshots. They might change a bit by the launch date, but they give you an idea of the look and feel.

While the exact details of the patent are a closely guarded secret, it reflects the fact that we are constantly striving to innovate with our product, and to maintain thought leadership in our sector.

WHAT??!!

In layman’s terms, if your company is using Google Apps, it means you can access to TeamSeer straight away, without having to type in your user name and password. It uses the fact you are authenticated on Google Apps to give you access. Likewise you can approve or decline holiday requests with a single click. How cool is that!

Single sign-on is something we’ve already done for clients using Windows networks, but it takes quite a lot of setting up, so it’s only really suitable for larger clients. With Google Apps, it’s incredibly straightforward.

Several TeamSeer clients are already using Google Apps for Business, so if you’d like to get set up on this please let us know.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing client implementations of our product as well as product development and support.
