Our delight at winning two awards in the 2011 Software Satisfaction Awards has been given a further boost today as we have received the written feedback from the customer survey from the company that organises the awards.

This is the entire, unadulterated, verbatim feedback of all the comments received (ok – bar correcting a bit of punctuation and a few spelling mistakes). If you are thinking of buying TeamSeer, we hope this will encourage you to choose us as your supplier of absence management software for 2012.

Very satisfied with the training received at implementation and following purchasing TeamSeer. Also a very prompt and efficient response service to any user queries or questions we have.

Always very helpful. Always listen to their customers views and develop the software around business’ needs. This is the key to success! Keep it up guys!

TeamSeer is backed up by an extremely competent and helpful customer service staff. Thank you!

I have worked with implementing this program from scratch within the company and have been impressed from the get-go. When TeamSeer has been notified of an improvement needed they have swiftly adapted the program and always without a glitch. We have ended up with a personalised product that we couldn’t live without!

I have found that any queries or problems have been resolved very quickly

We receive excellent support and all queries are dealt with extremely quickly.

Fantastic piece of kit, keep up the good work

I want to pass on a huge thank you to all the team at TeamSeer, they are extremely helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thanks

TeamSeer are excellent, if there is ever anything I wish TeamSeer could do or tweaks I would like to see they are always willing to consider making the changes if it is possible and obviously financially viable.

Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Before finding TeamSeer, we trialled several absence management systems and also developed 2 bespoke systems. TeamSeer is an excellent system – it met and exceeded all of our requirements and all new requirements have been developed and rolled out by them in a matter of days. The developers work closely with the users to develop new functionality which then becomes part of the core systems for all users.

This package has cured many years of holiday issues overnight. We now have an easily traceable holiday system in place eliminating arguments and creating a fair first come first served system.

TeamSeer is a fantastic way to keep track of sickness and holidays. Thanks

Pleasant and courteous- they deliver a well-focused product effectively. We have the internal resources to develop and code, but at this price it still makes sense for us to use TeamSeer’s excellent product.

TeamSeer has saved us so much time since installation. It is simple and instinctive to use at all levels.

Keep up the excellent work!

TeamSeer has proved to be a major benefit to our business in the management and control of staff absences.

TeamSeer is easy to use, the staff is always helpful and I love how easy it has made my life since we have purchased it for our company!

Never have problems

TeamSeer made our transition from a paper-based absence system to a fully electronic system totally painless, and their software has not only saved many man-hours of work; but is also extremely popular with the staff as they finally have control of their own holiday records! I would also say that in my experience of purchasing software for business it is a rare thing indeed that it meets all of the expectations made of it, TeamSeer has pretty much exceeded all of our expectations.

Fab fab

I think the TeamSeer tool is excellent, it is easy to use and technically brilliant. The support I receive is friendly, helpful and easy to understand.

I have been very happy with TeamSeer, and the staff are always helpful if I have to contact the helpdesk.

Everyone at TeamSeer are very friendly and willing to help promptly. The customer service is extremely good and very professional. I would definitely recommend TeamSeer to other companies!

We had a great night dressed up in black tie at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square with Alistair Campbell doing a good job as compere. Suffice to say the office is a bit quiet this morning with vats of tea and bacon sandwiches on supply.

A huge thank you to all our customers who voted.

And, I would like to say a personal thank you to everyone working at TeamSeer, and to everyone that supports us, because while we might think we have a great product, it would be nothing without the people behind it.

We’ve been working hard over the last six months to build a mobile-phone-friendly version of TeamSeer. We think it’s very cool, and we’ve even applied for a patent!

It’s in the late stages of testing at present, but we expect to release this to customers in late September / early October.

The mobile version is a ‘web app’ which means you don’t install an ‘app’ on your phone for it to work, you just need a smart phone with a web browser. It has been specifically designed to work with:

Blackberry

iPhone

Android

It should also work with modern Nokia smartphones and Windows Mobile phones, and tablets like the iPad.

The mobile app is a cut-down version of the full website version of TeamSeer, deliberately so, as when you are on the move you probably just want to book some holiday or approve your team’s holiday requests. There’s always the option to switch to the website version of TeamSeer from the main page.

Here’s some screenshots. They might change a bit by the launch date, but they give you an idea of the look and feel.

One of the cool things about Google Apps is the ability to do what’s known as a ‘Federated Login’ to another website. We’ve implemented Federated Login using the OpenId+OAuth hybrid protocol.

WHAT??!!

In layman’s terms, if your company is using Google Apps, it means you can access to TeamSeer straight away, without having to type in your user name and password. It uses the fact you are authenticated on Google Apps to give you access. Likewise you can approve or decline holiday requests with a single click. How cool is that!

Single sign-on is something we’ve already done for clients using Windows networks, but it takes quite a lot of setting up, so it’s only really suitable for larger clients. With Google Apps, it’s incredibly straightforward.

Several TeamSeer clients are already using Google Apps for Business, so if you’d like to get set up on this please let us know.

For the second year in a row, we’re delighted that TeamSeer is a finalist for the Intellect UK Software Satisfaction Awards.

We just entered one category this year – Human Resources & Human Capital Management Software, and have been shortlisted in both the SME and Enterprise categories.

The competition this year is based solely on users’ votes, so thanks to everyone who voted and gave their feedback.

We find out if we’ve won on Tuesday 18th October – so fingers crossed!
