TeamSeer’s absence management seminars hailed a success
March 21st 2011
TeamSeer’s first absence management seminars, held on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of March, attracted nearly 40 HR managers from blue-chip companies. The seminars were held at TeamSeer’s London offices and delegates travelled from as far away as Wales and the county of Avon to attend.
Delegates had the choice of attending on either day. Each seminar covered calculating holiday allowances for part-time staff and how to make the most of TeamSeer. The company, which bases its development on feedback from clients, also gave the attendees the opportunity to comment on TeamSeer’s 2011 ‘development roadmap’.
Calculating annual leave for part-time workers is often a contentious issue for HR departments. Feedback from the delegates described the sessions as “interesting and useful”.
TeamSeer will be holding regular seminars. The topics will be based on the feedback from people who attended the March events, who were asked what subjects would interest them most.
Although these first seminars were exclusive to TeamSeer clients, future events will be open to any company wishing to learn more about streamlining their absence management procedure.
“It was a small group, not too large and a good refresher.”
“Learnt some new things which will be used regularly.”
“Good group size – allowed people to feel comfortable asking questions which made the session interactive. Also, nice to meet the people at TeamSeer and talk to other people about how they use the system in their companies – good to get different perspectives.”
